Ideas for your Wedding Table

Your wedding tables are where your guests can sit down and really start to relax after the ceremony. You want this space to be special and memorable, not to mention comfortable. Here are some of our ideas to suit a variety of wedding themes.

Vintage

Achieve the pretty vintage look with mismatched crockery, wildflowers and floral prints. Create your centrepieces from iron wrought birdcages and decorate the table with miniature picture frames, filled with pictures of your friends and family. Choose delicate pastel colours such as duck egg blue, pale pinks and soft greens, and finish off the table with crystal glassware.

Classical

Decorate your table with golds and whites, adding an understated elegance to your decor. White roses, freesias and peonies make beautiful centrepieces, which you can highlight with opulent candelabras. If you have a particular colour scheme, this is a great backdrop for accenting with your colours of choice.

Luxe

Channel old school glamour with opulent ostrich feather centrepieces and plenty of pearls and sparkles. Perfect for an extravagant evening reception, you could even name your tables after iconic film stars or movies. Go for a classic black and white colour scheme and finish with cocktail glasses, diamante table confetti and champagne glasses!

Rustic

Relaxed and informal, a rustic theme works really well for casual, intimate weddings. Natural, earthy materials and warm tones are key for making this work. You could create centrepieces out of beautiful bunches of wildflowers, and hang bunting and string lights over your tables. Give your crockery and cutlery copper accents to add a modern edge, and dot around tealights in mason jars to create a cosy, ambient atmosphere.

Beachy

If you’re having your wedding reception on the beach - then lucky you! Palm trees and pineapple ornaments can look fantastic as tropical centrepieces, while you could use seashells and starfish as decorations. We think that shells can double up as gorgeous side plates too. Use white voile on the tables and ceiling to finish off your tropical island paradise with nautical accessories.
