Baked oats are a delicious and healthy alternative way to use your porridge oats. Baked oat dishes have been popular online and for a good reason! They’re so easy to make, you only need a few ingredients, and you make so many flavours that this breakfast option will never get boring.
Ingredients: 50g porridge oats / half tsp baking powder / half a banana (chopped) / 1tsp honey / 1 egg / pinch of cinnamon / 50g chocolate chips
Method:
1. Begin by preheating your oven to 180C or Gas Mark 4.
2. Add all ingredients except the chocolate chips into a blender and pulse until smooth.
3. Stir in the chocolate chips.
4. Oil two ramekins and divide the batter between them. Bake for 20 minutes or until risen and the oats start to come away from the side of the ramekin.
5. Serve with a few more chocolate chips over the top.
Ingredients: 50g porridge oats / half tsp baking powder / 1tsp honey / splash of milk / vanilla extract / 1 egg / pinch of cinnamon / pinch of sea salt / handful of blueberries / nuts of your choice (roughly chopped) / Greek yoghurt
Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 180C or Gas Mark 4.
2. Add all ingredients except your blueberries and yoghurt to a blender and pulse until smooth.
3. Stir in your blueberries and nuts.
4. Oil your ramekins and split the mixture between them. Bake for around 20 minutes.
5. Serve with a dollop of Greek yoghurt, a sprinkling of blueberries and nuts, and drizzle with honey.

Ingredients: 120g porridge oats / 1 egg / half a banana (mashed) / 1tsp maple syrup / 1 tbsp cocoa powder / 59ml milk / dash of vanilla extract / handful of chocolate chips
Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 180C or Gas Mark 4.
2. Mix your wet ingredients (including the egg and banana!) in a bowl until smooth.
3. Stir in the oats, chocolate chips, and cocoa powder until well mixed.
4. Pour the oats into a greased baking tin and sprinkle with extra chocolate chips.
5. Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the middle.
6. Serve with a spoonful of Nutella or your favourite chocolate spread. You could add a scoop of chocolate ice cream as an alternative dessert option.
Ingredients: 150g porridge oats / 2tsp vanilla extract / 225ml almond milk / 1 banana (mashed) / 185g berries (strawberry, raspberry, and blackberry all work well!) / 1 tsp maple syrup / flaked almonds
Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 190C or Gas Mark 5.
2. Pop the oats into a bowl, add 450ml of boiling water, stir, and add vanilla and milk.
3. Mix the banana, summer berries, and maple syrup in another bowl until combined. Don’t worry if some of your berries become bashed and bruised – this will make your dish even more delicious!
4. Mix your oat mixture and berries and pop them into a greased baking dish.
5. Scatter with almonds and bake for around 30 minutes.
6. Serve with extra berries, almonds, and maple syrup.
