Fun Halloween Party Games

If you’re a big fan of the spooky season, you’ll no doubt be planning some sort of Halloween party. But what games will you have to keep everyone entertained? Here at The Range, we’ve got plenty to keep you and your party guests full of life, even if they’re dressed as the undead. From silly and spooky to clever and competitive, here’s a roundup of the best Halloween games for your ghostly gathering.

Wink Murder

A classic party game and fun for all ages, Wink Murder is a great ice-breaker that always gets people laughing. Everyone sits in a circle and closes their eyes while one person (the selector) chooses the "murderer" by tapping them on the shoulder.

Once the game begins, the murderer tries to eliminate others by winking at them discreetly. When winked at, players must perform a dramatic (and hopefully hilarious) death scene.

If someone thinks they’ve figured out who the murderer is, they can shout, “I accuse!” and name their suspect. Guess right, and they become the next selector. Guess wrong, and they’re out. The goal? For the murderer to eliminate everyone without getting caught.

Eyeball Pong

A Halloween twist on the ever-popular beer pong. Simply draw eyeballs onto your ping pong balls for a creepy vibe. Arrange cups in a triangle formation on both ends of a table and try to bounce the eyeball into the opposing cups.

If you land a shot, your opponent drinks what’s inside. Make it party-appropriate with spooky punch, or switch to sweets or toys for a family-friendly version. Decorate your cups and table with cobwebs, spiders, or glow-in-the-dark paint for extra Halloween flair.

Halloween Bowling

Perfect for little ones and a great DIY activity. Collect and decorate tin cans or empty plastic bottles to resemble Halloween characters like mummies, pumpkins, ghosts, and vampires. Stack them in a pyramid, grab a small ball, and take turns trying to knock them all over.

Bonus points for themed sound effects or costumes while bowling!

Cluedo

Need something a bit quieter to wind down the night? Cluedo (or any (murder mystery game) is a fantastic way to wrap things up. Gather around the table with some snacks, and let the accusations begin. Add extra Halloween flair by dressing up as the characters or lighting a few flickering candles to set the mood.

Pumpkin Hunt

Think Easter egg hunt, but spooky! Hide mini plastic pumpkins, candy, or Halloween-themed trinkets around your home or garden. Hand each child a small bucket or bag and let them loose to find as many items as they can before time runs out.

Pin the Spider on the Web

A Halloween spin on "Pin the Tail on the Donkey." Draw a large spider web on poster board and cut out some spiders (or use stickers). Blindfold your players, spin them around, and see who can pin the spider closest to the center of the web.

Wrap the Mummy

A hilarious and active game that only requires loo roll or crepe paper. Divide your guests into teams and choose one person from each to be the mummy. The rest of the team must wrap them up as quickly and neatly as possible. The first team to fully wrap their mummy wins - just don’t forget to take a photo!

Now it’s time to get your scariest costume on and let the games begin. Whether you’re hosting a family bash or a frightful gathering with friends, these games are sure to add fun, laughter, and a bit of mischief to your night.
