The Range's Hacks for Styling Single Mirrors

You've been loving our Set of 3 Boston Mirrors online, and we love the way you've been styling them, too! To help you get the most out of mirror sets such as this one, we're going to share with you our favourite ways to style mirrors to create a dramatic focal point at just a fraction of the cost of a bigger mirror!

3D Layering

This is where you can create a 3D effect by simply layering the mirrors over the top of each other. Begin by hanging two or three mirrors on the wall with VELCRO Hangables (perfect if you're renting your home!). We like to set the base out in a simple square or a row of three. Once your base is done, hang your next mirror either in the centre of the square, overlapping your base, or, if you've chosen to line them up, placing them over the gaps between the mirrors.

Play with Angles

Especially brilliant if you're looking to fill an awkward gap or you like to fill your home with a quirky atmosphere, playing with the angles of your mirrors can create a stunning effect. Try hanging your mirrors at angles to create different shapes or find angular areas of the home to hang and highlight them to give the illusion of a larger space.

Gallery Effects

Interspersing your mirrors with wall art and hangings is an incredibly modern and stylish way to bring a touch of couture to your living room or hallway. This delightful gallery-inspired look helps you to easily cover wall space whilst reflecting the art across the room for a beautifully immersive feel; plus, the mirrors can break up your art and photographs and prevent your walls from feeling too closed in.

Play with Colour

Now, we might be biased, but we love our mirrors the way they come. However, we understand that though they might be the perfect design for your space, they might not be the right colour. When this happens, an easy way to upgrade your mirrors without breaking the bank is by giving them a new paint job. If you've got a deft hand, then you can hand paint your mirror frame, but you could easily cover the glass and spray paint the frame outside. Once dry, you'll have a bold new design to play with!
